Shrewsbury ghost tours return

The nights are drawing in and mist hangs in the air, that can only mean one thing... Shrewsbury's ghost tours are back!

Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery's ever-popular ghost tours return every Thursday from October 6th. Be guided around some of Shrewsbury's ghoulish spots and be regaled with terrifying tales.

Take to the water with The Sabrina's evening ghost cruises, returning October 3rd. During the 45-minute journey, you'll discover the darker side of Shrewsbury and its history of bloody wards, treachery and cold-blooded murder.

The Worlds second most haunted jail, Shrewsbury Prison is bursting with ghoulish happenings this October, from overnight stays to guided ghost tours and hunts.

Take a step back in time with one of Shrewsbury's oldest retailers as Tanners Wines takes you down into their cellars. Explore their many rooms and cellars, and journey through the past with tales of ghosts, sightings and the dark history of the ancient market town.

Get in the spooky spirit

Say hello to old favourites

This month we're saying hello to The Hole in the Wall. Now under new management, this historic Shrewsbury centre pub has had a full refurbishment and is ready and waiting to welcome you back through its doors.

Also reopening is national favourite Moss Bros. Having relocated from Shrewsbury's Mardol Head to a bigger and better unit on The Square, they'll be throwing open their doors on September 29th.
